Welcome to the home page of the San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp, directed by classical mandolinist, and educator, Chris Acquavella. The SDCMC will explore the depth and breadth of the classical mandolin, from baroque to modern times, through 4 days of intensive classes, rehearsals, and concerts. We are very excited to have the very lovely and talented, Mari Fe Pavon, as the SDCMC special guest artist from Europe. Also, members from the wonderful Bach Collegium San Diego will be joining us during the week.
The 2013 SDCMC will take place from July 30th - August 4th at the beautiful Kona Kai Resort on Shelter Island.
Chris and Mari Fe are both fantastic teachers and performers. They will lead you through a well thought out curriculum of the classical mandolin's technique and repertoire.
